Game 5 of the Open Masters, yielded another perfect 300 game, now by Carl Molett. Good job, and Well Done, Carl! The masters is still halfway, seems that we are going to expect more high scores.

22 September 2013 (Day 3) - Masters Day.

A BIG day for the BIG Man Mark Francis for bowling a perfect 300 game on the second game.

National Bowling Tour # 7 - Strike Lower Hutt

21 September 2013 (Saturday), Day 2 has been a high scoring day. Sonny Reguerra bowled 212, 237, 290, 278, 216 and 234 to a total of 1467 pins and averaging 244.5. Sonny also bowled over 800pinfalls for 3 game block on this qualifying round. Mark Francis finished the day with a big one as well with 257, 259, 223, 204, 258 and 245 with a total of 1446 pins and averaging 241. Sonny leads the Open division qualifiers followed by Mark and Daniel on 3rd. Sonny also secured the High game score of 290 in Open division.

Phil Wright maintains his lead in the Senior division with his total pinfalls of 1374 on the Day 1. Rey Non bowled 201, 258, 233, 207, 202 and 219 with a total of 1320 pins and averaging 220. Rey secured 2nd place on the Senior division qualifiers, followed by Greg Nicolas, Roger Tucker, Wayne Booth, Terry Mustchin, Alan Vermaak, Delfin de Guzman and Tony Rollo.

On the Ladies division, Kerrie Chruchill bowled 245 to grab the High Game score from Julie Barns (244). Julianne Mollet still leads the Ladies division qualifiers followed by Ellen Slater, Ivena Heald, Kerrie Chruchill, Suzanne Howell, Lynnaire Churchill, Julie Barns, Aleisha Cunningham, Brooke Malone and Annabelle Swain.

Youth division top qualifiers are: Anthony Carbonell, Kaleb Allardyce, Jess Swain, Kieran Davis, Saasha Ritchie and Ash Ball.

The Junior division's top qualifiers are: Alex Harman, Dayna Haylock, Jess Swain, Lance Barns, Chelsie Parsons and Mitchell Davis.

National Bowling Tour #7

20 September 2013 (Friday), day 1 of the NBT#7 - Hosted by Strike Lower Hutt. Thunderstorm and lightning has delayed the completion of the Squads A and B as computer system has been losing power for almost 3 times and one caused by a long power outage. The Squad A was completed approximately 9PM and Squad B finished around 11:30PM. The delays doesn't hold Daniel Simon to bowl 268 for the Open division, and Phil Wright toppling down 279 pins for the Seniors Division. Phil leads the Senior division with his 1374 pins, while Daniel has a total pinfalls of a strong 1405.

Anthony Carbonell also bowled 234 pins to lead the Youth division, Julie Barnes bowled 244 pins for the Ladies, Julieanne Mollet leads the Ladies and Alex Harman for the Juniors.

NATIONAL SENIOR TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013

At the recently concluded 2nd National Senior Team Championships 2013, Pinoy Bowlers German Ebue, Greg Nicolas and Delfin De Guzman were the Top 3 Mens high averages, hence selected as the All Star Team category.

Delfin started strongly on Day 1 during the Team Event Block 1 to lead in the Mens All Events.
Day 2, German Ebue took the Mens Singles Gold medal from Rob Pollock (Kapiti) with Wayne Booth (Wellington) coming in 3rd. Block 2 of the Team Event was held after the completion of the Singles event. At end of Day 2 German Ebue led the All Events by 26 pins from Greg Nicolas followed closely by Delfin, Yoyo Muljono, Wayne Booth, Roger Tucker.

Day 3 was the doubles, Germz bowled consistently well to maintain his lead in the All Events. Greg stayed in 2nd place with Delfin hanging on to 3rd by 1 pin from Rob Pollock. Yoyo Muljono was 5th.

Well done to all the senior bowlers, especially Germz.

NSTC 2013 has just concluded at Strike Porirua.



German Ebue of Strike Lower Hutt finished first place in Men's Singles Event, followed by Rob Pollock of Kapiti in 2nd place, and Wayne Booth of Wellington on the third place.



Lynnaire Churchill of Wellington captured the Gold medal in Ladies Singles Event, with Donna Fletcher of Manukau - Silver medal and Robyn Watkins - Bronze medal.

NATIONAL SENIOR TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013




Day 2 has been completed with total of 9 games each bowlers. 6 games for Singles and 3 games for the Block 2 of Teams. Magnificent effort for everybody completing the day. For Lower Hutt Men's Team, it was great effort by finishing 3rd overall, coming from 6th place after the day 1 (Block 1).
Wellington Men's Team finished first with a total pinfalls of 4164, Strike Porirua 2nd place with 4149 pins and Strike Lower Hutt 4147 pins.
Manukau Ladies finished first with a total pinfalls of 3859, Kapiti 2nd place with 3811 and Wellington finished 3rd with 3784 pins.
