STRIKE LOWER HUTT CHRISTMAS HAMPER TOURNAMENT 2014

20 December 2014, Saturday - The Christmas Hamper tournament was attended by 7 teams of 2 bowlers each.

The Tandems of Danny and Alma Jamieson, Tom Hapi and Ian Klein, Kerrie Churchill and Dave, Marion Gunn and Dana Holt, Jun and Keanu Templonuevo, Ramon and Robert Tiu, and Germz Ebue and Coco Tuason.

It was a four games tournament. First 2 games were Scotch Doubles, 3rd game was 8 No Tap, and 4th was a regular game.

Germz and Coco won the first place with just 1 pin over Ramon and Robert.

Congrats to all the bowlers who participated the fun-filled tournament.

BCL Prize giving Dinner 2014

15 November 2014, Saturday - Prize giving dinner was held at New Fortuna restaurant in Jackson Street, Petone. Food was very good, and place is cozy. I personally enjoyed the food.

TenPin Wellington Challenge 2014

20 September 2014 - Masterton, New Zealand



The First TenpinWellington Championships was held at Master Bowl, Masterton. It was participated by 24 bowlers from 3 centres of Masterton, Bowlarama, Newtown and Strike, Lower Hutt.
As Albert Saw of Bowlarama Team has said, the lane was very challenging and you need to think on how to play the lanes. The lane was manually conditioned the night before the tournament. It was expected the lane condition was patchy.

Germz Ebue from Strike Lower Hutt team received the High game trophy scoring 189.
Peter Simpson received the Most Strikes in a row.
Sofi Fanua of MasterBowl Team 1 took home most of the trophies.
Master Bowl Team 2 finished Champion.

Kapiti Coasters Invitation to basketball tournament

CGSE World Youth Championships 2014

The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society World Youth Championships was held on August 6 – 15, 2014 at South China Athletic Association Bowling Centre, Hong Kong, China.
The Tenpin bowling event was participated by 46 countries, with a total of 196 Men and 66 Women bowlers. Amongst the participants is New Zealand whose bowlers are Anthony Carbonell, Kaleb Allardyce, John Miklos and Blake Brooks.
